How Casa Cruz is made
From the first idea to the final polish, every Casa Cruz piece goes through a careful development process. Drawing on over a decade of experience in jewelry design and product development, we work closely with trusted manufacturing partners to transform inspiration into pieces you'll wear again and again.
01
Inspiration: Every piece begins with an idea. Inspiration can come from architecture, vintage treasures, travel, fashion, art, or everyday moments that catch our attention.
02
Drawing: Ideas are refined into technical drawings as we explore proportions, details, and wearability.
03
Wax Mould: Once the design is finalized, a master model is used to create a mold that will be used to produce future pieces.
04
Wax Tree: Wax replicas are attached to a wax tree, preparing the design for the casting process - to cast them into solid metal.
05
Casting & Polishing:
The jewelry is cast in metal, then carefully filed, polished, and refined to achieve its final form.
06
Assembly & Finishing: Components are assembled, stones are set where applicable, and every detail is carefully finished by hand
07
Gold Plating: To achieve Casa Cruz's signature gold finish, each piece undergoes a careful plating process that gives it its warm colour and shine. Depending on the design, we use different plating thicknesses to balance durability, comfort, and wearability—because the pieces you wear most deserve lasting attention to detail.
08
Before a piece becomes part of the Casa Cruz collection, it undergoes a series of quality checks. From finish and functionality to comfort and wearability, every detail is reviewed to ensure it meets our standards before reaching its new home.
